Canadian Electronic Library (CEL) has been active as an aggregator of ebooks for libraries specializing in Canadian content since its founding in 2005.
Canadian Electronic Library distributes books from 80+ scholarly and independent Canadian publishers and monographs from over 1000 think tanks and public policy groups in Canada. All titles are available for library licensing; all are accompanied with full MARC records. There are over 70,000 monographs currently available.
From 2005 until 2016, CEL content has been made available to libraries on the ebrary/ProQuest platform. As of June 2016 this partnership is being wound down; the same content is now being made available exclusively on the desLibris platform. There will be a gradual transition period to allow subscribers to adjust to and accommodate the change.
CEL offers these services for libraries:
These collections are now available on the desLibris platform:

While MARC records provide a degree of access, these services augment cataloguing by providing libraries with a unified index of content, fulltextsearch, results ranking, and other tools which simplify and focus the discovery process. All desLibris titles included in these services carry links for direct access to authenticated content.
desLibris content is indexed and available in the services shown below. For more information, please contact the service vendors.
